Panzhihua at the south of Sichuan district is the first big city where the Yangtze Jiang is passing. The prefecture Panzhihua is also well known because of the mining at the region.
Amazingly this remote industrial center is surrounded by pristine, ancient cycad forests which are also home to the giant panda. The area is notable for its lush, subtropical climate.
